“Seems like you can’t throw a rock without hitting a jewelry maker…how am I gonna stand out?”

Ever ask yourself this question?

I sure have.

Being in the jewelry industry, it’s super easy to overthink this.

It all comes down to building a jewelry brand people relate to.

But trying to be unique while staying true to yourself is overwhelming, right?

You start overthinking it and eventually, you’re back to where you started and nothing has changed.

Well, you’re in luck!

I have my friend, Lisa Haggis, back on the show with me to help you figure out your branding once and for all!

Lisa Haggis helps overthinkers nail down what they want to be known for and how they want to show up in their business. She's the creator of the Substantial Branding System and a crusader for bold authenticity.

She's a truth finder, brunch lover, canadian, and adventurer in life’s small things.

I don’t usually include the entire bio in the show notes, but since we’re talking about branding…introducing yourself is a huge part!

Notice her bio is specific, short, and relatable!

Get ready…cause here we go!

Also, I’m sharing a big (very personal) part of the reason I got into jewelry, I hope you can relate to the feeling.

Heartfelt Decision-Making

Connecting with clients begins with deciding who you are. Decide your story and lay the groundwork for your business before going out and getting clients or customers.

Your messaging has to tell the same message every time, so set aside some time to intentionally make these decisions!

Share a Story of Substance

The key to unlocking what you stand for is to create a vision of the world you want your customers to have. These are based on core values of your brand & business.

If you’re passionate about individuality and one of a kind expression, back that up with a specific story. Never sacrifice the value you provide for originality.

Fill in the Gaps

Appeal to your customer’s desire to feel a certain way. Reflect how they want their life to be. Pricing is a huge factor in building this reflection.

This doesn’t work for every audience, but if your customer is looking for a feeling of luxury and your price point is too low, you will let them down.

Wasn’t today’s episode fantastic? I love when Lisa is on the show, such a great reminder.

That’s the key to connecting with people emotionally.
