I admit it! When it comes to marketing for my jewelry business, I used to be all over the place with my content, marketing and strategy.

Rarely did I have a plan to map things out in advance. Scheduling my marketing efforts? Forget it! Quite frankly, I was somewhat frazzled at all times because I didn’t have a solid plan. The result was a slew of disjointed content that didn’t really flow.

That was until I learned a better way to organize my marketing.

By effectively using the “Tool” that I am going to share with you today, you’ll never stress about what to promote or market in your business.

    I used to just start a draft for every blog post idea I had. Then I used Evernote to capture ideas for blog posts, but I recently started using Asana to plan my posts and to map out events (I’m going to do a few home shows this year). I just integrated Asana with Evernote (using Zapier), which is going to make the process much more effective for me.

    I’ve been doing a lot of systemizing and organizing of my business and personal life this past year. A marketing calendar is something I have yet to do but I am looking forward to it. I have made calendars for many other things and the results have been phenomenal!

    P.s. Tracy, you look fantastic in this video. I love the jacket!

    1) Marketing calendar??? You mean that fuzzy thing that swirls around in your head and says, “hey it is Valentine’s Day in three weeks!!!” Oops!
    2) I have my daily, handwritten to do list but I am going to try transfer it to Asana and see how it goes, plus map out some minor and major marketing plans in it. It is great that you can use it both on your computer and on your mobile. I have downloaded the app for my phone. Thanks for the tip, Tracy!

    im a bit with Chantel on this one! but downloading Asana to my phone this very second! im still working out the best content to be posting for my marketing though, but recently have discovered tools like buffer n post planner that are helpful for when i DO come across things i think are useful(n its not a peak reach time)…. thanks for the tip!
