In today’s episode, I am so excited to be talking with Tiffany Kennedy, an expert marketing consultant and CEO of Lead Marketing by Design.

After working with Tiffany myself, I can tell you she is a wealth of online marketing knowledge, and the ultimate resource for any jewelry designer looking to amp up their Pinterest marketing.

Let’s jump right in and talk about how to leverage Pinterest to get more website traffic and attract those DREAM clients of yours!

Be Specific

My first big takeaway from my conversation with Tiffany was to always be as specific and targeted as possible. Instead of just pinning simple links to your collection, try pinning a blog post that goes in-depth on specific type of metalsmithing method you use, talk about your naturally sourced materials, or another niche you may have cornered. This makes people want to learn more about the pin, and truly want to visit your website!

Capitalize Your Content

In the podcast, Tiffany gives some great examples on how to include multiple, Pinterest-friendly images on all of your blog posts and website pages that can offer multiple ways for anyone who visits your website to share your content. This is a great way to offer value to your followers while, in turn, having your followers reach out to new prospects by repining again and again.

Craft Your Images Wisely

Pinterest, as you may have noticed, is a highly visual medium. Tiffany put it best when she said, “Pinterest is such a visual platform. You really want your images to stand out and be clear.” Other social media sites like Twitter and Facebook focus on text and images working together.

While there are pros and cons to both, jewelry is just one of those things that people would much rather look at than just hear about! Pinterest entices readers with aesthetically pleasing images before they click-through to get to the ‘meat,’ so to speak, of the content you’re linking them to. Be sure to listen to the episode to learn how to optimize your images for Pinterest’s ever-changing aspect ratios and settings.

These tips are just the tip of the iceberg. Click ‘play’ above to listen to Tiffany tell us all about the latest Pinterest marketing trends.
