What’s the best way to get more exposure for your jewelry business?

Getting featured by the media!

You might be thinking, “easier said than done!” but it’s actually not as mystifying as you think to get PR for jewelry designers!

Jewelry is a great industry to get lots of press attention because people love seeing and talking about jewelry!

I have my girl Sabina Hitchen on the show with me today talking about some pretty incredible ways to get more PR for your jewelry business this year!

Sabina owns a PR agency in NYC called SabinaKnows, plus a self guided program called Press for Success where you can take all her strategies and add them to your business at your own pace!

Today, she’s sharing a bunch of apps that will help you out big time!

It’s Never Too Late to Start

There’s always something new coming out! Whether it’s from a blogger or a big publishing house, they’re always coming up with new content. So it’s never too late to get started building relationships with people in PR.

Spring time is actually a great time to get active because when July rolls around, you’ll already be top of mind! That’s when the press start working on their holiday issues!

Build Relationships with the Press

Taking action and doing research is the only place to start! Think big and have a clear idea of who would be a good fit for your jewelry niche!

People help people they like, so building relationships with the press is a good way to get opportunities. You can build relationships with people all over the world. You aren’t limited to your location anymore thanks to the internet so think big!

Break it Down

If it’s overwhelming, break it down into small simple steps. Establish a workflow for your PR outreach activities! Yes, systems are you friend no matter what!

Don’t forget to include celebrating small wins! Even sending out your first pitch counts as a win! Action creates more action and soon those pitches will turn into features!

Sabina is always so motivating and I love having her around the Flourish & Thrive community! We’re hosting a PR Master Class next week, March 20th.

If this was helpful to you, you’re gonna want to sign up for this Master Class because we’re sharing the best way to get PR for jewelry designers!
