Don’t Make These ANNOYING Mistakes When Pitching to Stores

Building the wholesale side of your jewelry business is a great way to diversify your revenue and grow your brand!

However, it’s really easy to annoy buyers when you are first venturing out and selling to stores.

Let me explain…

Creating an in-house sales department is a fantastic strategy even if the sales team is only you in the beginning. Buyers love connecting with the designers and it helps you establish a deep relationship.

In fact, it’s MY personal favorite strategy for wholesale as opposed to dealing with reps and showrooms.

Gaining trust with prospects or stores that are learning about you takes time and smart techniques.

When I first started out, I was doing all of the sales on my own and making some really annoying mistakes in the process, which I am sure I totally repelled buyers.

And no one wants to repel a buyer!

I’ve noticed some of the designers in our community making the same mistakes so I thought that today it would be auspicious to talk about these mistakes that I made so you don’t do the same!

    I have been sending my pitch emails out with a large line sheet file attached. I’ll be changing this ASAP! Do you recommend requiring a password for the line sheet page on a website or having an invisible page on a website?
