Selling jewelry online doesn’t ONLY have to be on your website!

In fact, it doesn’t require a website at all…

I know, that goes against a lot of things we talk about here on the Thrive by Design podcast.

(psst…we highly recommend you do have a branded website but keep reading).

The truth is, there are so many ways to sell jewelry.

Everyone is at a different stage in their business, so recommending a full-blown website might not be the best fit for you right now.

Even selling on a platform like Etsy freaks some people out, right?

Dealing with listings, SEO, tracking all the details and checking for orders, etc

What if there were a way to sell a ton of jewelry to your friends, family, and others in your network in one fell swoop??

Well, today on the show, I have a thriving member of our community, Sarah DeAngelo! She’s also in our Mastermind Intensive and part of our Diamond Insiders.

She is doing a full on supershare with us by walking us through her experience hosting successful Facebook jewelry sales!

She has seen incredible results with this, and the way she does it is pretty brilliant!

If you’re a new designer trying to get the word out or just have a bunch on inventory you’d like to unload…get ready!

I’m so excited to dive into this episode with you, it's gonna be awesome!

Leverage Your Entire Network

Invite your email list, people who like your business page, and even use direct Facebook messages. Since you’re hosting this event on Facebook, it’s totally fair game to invite family, friends, coworkers, etc!

Letting people know the sale is coming up about a month or so ahead of time will really help your attendance numbers! And, of course, posting updates on Facebook.

Use Sales Psychology

Offering a discount on your items helps thing sell quickly! Only have one left of a certain style? No problem! It can actually make the sale more fun if there are limited quantities!

Get the clearance items out of the way first, before selling the regular priced items. They’ll feel like they already got a good deal and won’t have a problem spending more!

Prep in Advance

Take really good pictures of your jewelry and prep your item descriptions in advance! Brainstorm some ideas for a giveaway, contest, etc. to encourage people to show up.

Plan for a time of day that works for you customers. How do you find out?

Ask them!

Send an email to your list or post on your Facebook page asking what time works best for them.

Give it a shot!

xo, Tracy
