How to Get More Black Friday Weekend Sales From Social Media

Along with the pile of leftover Halloween candy, there are a lot of marketing ideas you have to chew on this time of year!

You know the Holidays are only a few weeks away and you want to take full advantage of the selling events that go along with them (like Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday)

You’ll need to have your marketing in check, your social media planned out, and your email offers set up.

You might be scratching your head thinking ”where do I start?”

Even if you’ve been in business for years, you might still feel overwhelmed.

The good news?

We’ve created a social media checklist that will boost your Black Friday sales and create a major buzz around the rest of the weekend!

Your Offer

Let’s get started with your offer(s), you’ll need to decide which sale days you will be participating in; Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, or Cyber Monday. You can even do all three, which means more sales for you!

If you decide to do multiple days, you can choose to do the same offer all weekend, or switch it up each day.

For example, Black Friday you run a discount on all earrings, Small Business Saturday you run a BOGO, and Cyber Monday you offer a site wide sale.

You can strategically offer better deals as the days go by, or make it known that Black Friday will have the best deals, to encourage people to buy early, and have it taper off to something as simple as free shipping on Cyber Monday.

Once you’ve decided on which days you‘ll participate in, you can begin scheduling your social media to let everyone know how great your deals are going to be! That’s right, we said schedule!

Schedule Posts in Advance

Scheduling posts in advance is a smart idea for SO many reasons… but, most importantly, planning ahead is going to save you a ton of stress and time! Here are our go-to schedulers for each social media platform.

    the offer
    the timeframe
    the product

You want to be very clear what exactly they will get from your offer, when it happens, and what they action they need to take to take advantage of it.

    Hello, I participated in the Black Friday Facebook Live event and recommended it to several of my friends. However, they weren’t able to attend at that time. I thought you commented that some how people could watch it again on your website. Is there a link to the Facebook Live Event that allows you to see it again?

    Also, if you are able to send out emails sooner next time announcing an event like this I would like to send to my friends so they have more notice. My apologies if you did so before and I missed it. It is just a suggestion. However, I do really appreciate the written “condensed” outline you have posted above.
