Marie suggests making a list of ways you could surprise and delight your customers. Get ideas for this by writing out all the things about the jewelry industry that annoy you or downright piss you off.
Work backwards from this and make your brand the one that has it figured out!
Speak to Only to ONE Person
This sounds counter intuitive, I know, but hear me out. Nothing is going to shut people out more than writing like you’re speaking to a crowd, it’s impersonal.
Instead, always use ‘you’ instead of ‘everyone’ or ‘some of you’ because there will only ever be one person reading your website, Instagram caption, or email. People aren’t crowding around a computer to read it together, right?
Speak like they are the only one….it goes a long way!
Have the mindset that you’re in business for your customers, not for yourself, and you will see a huge shift in sales and traffic!
