What Does It Actually Mean to Evolve?
Not just pivot. Not just rebrand. But actually, deeply evolve, the way you shed a skin you did not even realize you had been living in. That is the question I keep coming back to after sitting down with Chelsea Renee for this episode of Creatives Rule the World, and it is one I think every creative entrepreneur needs to sit with right now.
I first met Chelsea through my friend, and I immediately hit it off with her. She just has a vibe. A serial entrepreneur, community architect, and conscious business builder, Chelsea runs Heart Centered Humans (immersive retreats and breathwork ceremonies), channeled her own modality called Activate Breathwork to help people connect with their ancestors and spirit guides, and leads Ascend Psychedelics, bringing ceremony into regulated psychedelic spaces. On top of all of that, her nonprofit Expand Leadership Initiative supports women-owned businesses through scholarships and rebrands, and twice a year she hosts Fempire, a business summit for wild female entrepreneurs with a dress code of business to Burning Man. I freaking love it.
She also has a two-year-old, a husband who recently retired, and a breathwork tour across eight to ten US cities planned for this summer. Multi-passionate is an understatement, and she is one of those people who makes it all feel completely effortless.
Breathwork as Your Next Business Strategy
One of the things I talk about constantly inside the Wealthy Creative Society is that the external strategies only take you so far. At some point, the ceiling you are bumping up against is internal. That is where modalities like breathwork come in, and it is something I have been practicing almost every morning for years.
Chelsea shared that breathwork is what gets you to those next-level identities. When you feel like you are doing everything right and still not moving, it is often because there are old stagnant patterns living in your body, not your to-do list. Activate Breathwork, the technique she channeled, goes even deeper, creating a frequency that consistently brings through messages from ancestors and spirit guides. And the best things that happen at events are never on the agenda. They happen in the bathroom, outside waiting for the Uber, at the speaker dinner. The unplanned moments are the ones that change everything. You cannot manufacture those. You can only show up and be open to them.
