I’m having a hard time focusing on work. How can I keep the creative energy alive at a time like this?

First of all, don’t beat yourself up for not being as productive as you want to be. As Robin said, these are uncharted waters.

It’s crucial to set realistic expectations for yourself. And I mean it.

Make a list at the beginning of the week. Set aside blocks of time each day and see how much you can knock off that list.

Above all, don’t compare yourself to other people. You don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes in their lives. Be gentle with yourself and do your best.

I don’t want my community to feel like I’m trying to sell to them during a sensitive time, but I have a business to run. How do I navigate this?

Now is the perfect time for honesty.

Check in with your customers, share what’s going on in your life and ask about their lives. Selling is about relationships and we all need to feel connected right now.

If people don’t want to buy at a time like this, they won’t. And that’s okay!

For the people who do want to buy, your jewelry is a small piece of joy, something positive to look forward to in a scary time. Don’t be afraid to spread that positivity!

I need email marketing now more than ever, but I haven’t emailed my list in over a year. How do I restart the conversation?

It’s never too late to start emailing your list!

That being said, you need to have a plan. The last thing you want to do is reconnect with your list only to ghost them again.

I recommend having a schedule set up in advance with multiple emails already written. That way you never have to scramble at the last minute to stay on top of things.

People have a lot of extra time on their hands right now. It’s the perfect opportunity to uplevel your email marketing!

Listen to the full episode above to hear about other things you can be doing right now to make the most of this scary situation.

Stay safe, stay healthy!

xo, Tracy
