Blog Featured image template (1)

Let’s start the new decade off with a challenge!

I love January (even though it’s a slow month for us designers) because it’s an opportunity for a fresh start. Time to refresh your mindset, fast-track your sales, and create a repeatable sales system that you can use all year long.

Are you in?

Good! Because I’ve got something great for you. It’s called the Reboot Your Revenue Challenge, and it’s a 7-day challenge designed to get you quick wins and on track to crush your sales goals in 2020.

The challenge launches officially on January 14th, but you can register now on our website and receive some pre-homework in your email.

Don’t let the word “homework” scare you – it’s actually fun!

It will come over the course of 5 separate challenges, and then culminate in an epic online masterclass!

Here’s a little preview of what to look forward to next week…

Start With A 3-Year Vision

Before you do anything to accelerate your sales or reboot your revenue, you need to know and envision what you want.

Is there a certain sales figure you want to hit? A lifestyle goal to achieve? Your values should be the central focus of your brand strategy.

Start big and narrow down. First, write down your 3-year vision. From there, create a 1-year vision, then quarterly, then monthly, etc. etc.

For some, this is the hardest step. But it’s vital to the process.

Identify Your True Fans

In 2008, Kevin Kelly wrote a revolutionary essay called 1,000 True Fans.

The gist of it is this: you don’t need millions of customers to have a successful business. You only need 1,000 TRUE fans who love what you do and will be loyal to your brand for life.

And we all need to start where we’re at.

Identify the people in your life right now who love everything you do and support you no matter what – even if it’s just your mom!

Connect to Convert

For this part, you need to put on your big girl pants.

Take the list you’ve made of your true fans, and reach out to at least ONE of them to ask for a sale.

It’s scary at first, but you’d be surprised how effective this strategy can be. Maybe they don’t want to buy anything right now, but they might know someone who does!

I once had a small room of designers do this for one of our SOS events, and we collectively brought in $36K in under 48 hours!

I’ve only covered a few pieces of the puzzle here. For the complete set of tips to boost your sales in 2020, listen to the full episode above.

See you next week, m’dear!
